How to wire a 94-97 computer to a 99

I have put this together from information I have gathered from the net.  I have not installed a 95-96 g20 computer yet but I thought this information may be useful.  I bought a 95 G20 Manual ECU from a scrap yard through car-parts.com.  I am in the process of getting a 95 G20 rear O2 sensor .

Installing 94-96 G20 ECU into 1999

 All the G20's through the P10 years came with 7500 rev limiter.  After 99 Infiniti reduced the limiter to 7100. From 2000 up they changed the harness so this swap is not an option . But only the ECU in the 94-96 G20 is compatible with the 99.  The older G20 ECU raises the redline to 7500 and takes the speed limiter off. The ECU really adds to the driving pleasure of these cars. This procedure will also be needed if you plan on going turbo since JWT cannot program any ECUs after 97.  Here is the procedure to eliminate the MIL light you will receive from using an older computer.

Parts needed
94-96 Manual G20 ECU
94-96 Rear O2 sensor
18mm spark plug anti-fouler

If your willing to drive with the check engine light one than just unplug the absolute pressure sensor.  Doing so will help with the erratic Idle.
