How to make CAI mid pipe and slightly bore MAF
This is the pipe between the MAF and the throttle body (WAI)

I am not responsible if you damage your car after doing these modifications

WAI
The first thing you need to get is a tail pipe turn down.  It can be gotten from Jegs, summit, or your local speed shop.  I used a 3" turn down that I got from my local speed shop for $17.00 and 2 silicone Reducers that I got from Hosetechniques  for $19 with shipping

Next you need to figure approximate size and bend of the WAI making sure to leave room for the silicone reducers. I did this by holding  the pipe over the rubber hose and marking my cut.  It doesn't need to be exact just not to big or small I left about 2" on both sides and mine fit tight.
Here is the tail pipe turn down cut but still laid
together so you can get the idea of the shape

The next thing you need to get is the pipes that the hose fit on to the intake pipe with.  I used some things I found around my shop like a piece of a power antenna for the vacuum and some electrical pipe for the other two.  I had the pipes welded by a friend  but I heard of people using JB weld.
Here is the pipes laid in there approximate
locations pre-weld (opposite)

After it was all welded I painted it
using high temp engine paint

MAF
I ordered a spare MAF from a junk yard on line So I wouldn't have any down time or permanent problems.  It cost $50 with shipping.

The first thing I did was REMOVE THE SENSOR from the top. After that it is safe to work on. I began by using a heavy duty file.   I entered the MAF from the EXIT side and filed the ENTER side   at an angle, so it would create more of a funnel shape.  After I widened the opening with the file I used a dremel to smooth out the roughness.  I didn't actually change the size of the hole I just opened the mouth.  After it was smoothed with the dremel I further smoothed it with finer and finer sand pare until it had fine scratches.   Then I used a polishing wheel to high polish the whole inside.  After everything was done I blew it out with an air gun and painted it black with High temp paint

Here you can see the inside of the MAF before and after boring

Install
last but not least put everything in your car and enjoy.  I put the brass tube from the Valve cover in between the tube and the VC since it had a smaller hole but you could just have that tube welded on to the WAI
