Progress as of 9/29/08
It was a crappy rainy weekend, so I didn't get as much done as I would of liked.  but I did manage to get a few things done between showers.  I installed the remote start, even though it wasn't the one I thought it was.  I thought it was a remote start/keyless entry unit, but it was just a remote start, so I got  a keyless entry off of ebay this weekend for $20.  I'll add it to the remote start as soon as it arrives.  shouldn't be a big deal.  I also installed the Nite-lite automatic headlight kit, only to find out the unit was defective and caused the lights to stay on all the time, so it needed to be removed.  I'll get a new one soon, now that its wired I just need to plug in the brain.  Not much I can show you here so there are no pictures, sorry.

I also wired up my dual corner, and its a good thing too because I noticed that the parking lights in the headlights weren't working.  I'm not sure if I'm gonna fix the factory parking lights or just use the modified corners, we'll see what happens

And last but not least, today I finished up the last wheel, so now they just need to be installed.

It sucks after all that hard work to just have them the way they came from the factory, but I didn't feel like gunmetal was a good color to go with white so it had to be done.  Tomorrow I'm gonna stop at the auto parts store and pick up some chrome valve stems for the finishing touch.  I hope to have the wheels on the car by the end of the week (if weather and time allow)

WHEELS FINALLY INSTALLED
well I finally have the wheels all done and I had enough time today to install them.  I had to use a 7mm spacer in the rear so they would clear the spring seat, but they fit.  upon further inspection of the old wheels and tires, they were in pretty bad shape so I'm glad to have them off the car

This weekend I'm hoping to get the fog lights, radio and speakers installed, and hopefully the weather will be good so I can red out the tails and install the tint.

Progress as of 10/4/08
more progress today, I installed my Sirius satellite radio. Now I can really drive the car, I don't have to worry about missing Howard Stern on my way to work .

I also installed the new front speakers, but the adapters I got didn't fit so I had to do a ghetto rig

I dremalled out the current speaker baffle and fit the speakers in, then I put some duct tape on to fill the space left.  I'll probably get the right adapters, but for now it works fine.  The car only had rear working speakers before so its a definite improvement.
I also redded out the tails, so no more ugly amber

Progress as of 10/9/08
I picked up a bunch of maintenance parts.  Rear brake pads and rotors, spark plugs, cap and rotor, windshield wipers, and fuel filter.  so I'll spend a good part of this weekend getting the car ready for winter.  I also got the Nissan Altima radio so I'll install that.  and I got some hangers for the exhaust, so hopefully I can stop it from banging.  Maybe I'll give the tint job another shot too.

Progress as of 10/12/08
This weekend I got alot of eminence stuff done on the car.  I replaced the rear rotors and pads which it desperately needed.  I also changed the cap and rotor which also looked pretty bad.  The exhaust had no hangers left except for on the muffler, so I got a universal hanger and clamp from the auto parts store and added that to the middle of the exhaust.
With all the important stuff finished, it was time to add some fun stuff.  I put my fog lights in and wired them up to the factory switch

And since I couldn't remove the ugly pin stripes, I had to go over them with something a little less pink.  so plain black it was

I also tried to install the pre-cut window tint I got off of ebay, but it didn't come out so great so the only windows that are tinted are the 2 small windows on the passenger door.  you can see it on the picture above.  I might try again, but I don't have access to a garage so it will probably keep coming out crappy until. I do it in the right environment.
